New question; if I were to have her keep her canon powers instead, would it be okay to say she'd need to be able to get better at using magic to use it more effectively/bring out the big guns, as it were? That'd keep her from being able to be overpowering right away.

Also, if I did this, would I have to use AC rewards to explain her proficiency/what she can handle growing, or would I be allowed to just account for that with passage of time?
